The 2013 Ram Heavy Duty trucks finally made their official debut last September 27, 2012. These trucks were actually regarded as the reworked versions of their predecessors and these were introduced with a lot of interior, exterior, and engineering upgrades.

The debut of these heavy duty trucks is viewed as an important event for both Ram and Chrysler since these were among the most significant vehicles that they have been selling a few years ago. These trucks became popular for their hardworking character and reliable features.

Based on the information provided by Chrysler, the 2013 Ram Heavy Duty trucks will hit the company's dealerships in February and the pricing information will be announced in the later parts of December.

The reworked version of the Ram Heavy Duty trucks will be sold with new and useful items such as the upgraded tailgate camera and the 8.4-inch display which is offered as an optional feature. The upgraded tailgate camera is a very useful item, most especially when used with the optional display since this provides high-definition images that aid the drivers when hooking each of these trucks to a trailer.

Aside from that, these trucks will also be introduced into the market with the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 as their standard engine. This engine is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission. This V-8 is expected to generate the maximum power output of up to 383 horsepower.

These trucks can also be had with an optional 6.7-liter Cummins inline-6 turbodiesel engine which is mated to three different transmissions. When mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, the Cummins turbodiesel engine is capable of generating a maximum power output of up to 350 horsepower.

The engine which is linked to a 68RFE 6-speed automatic transmission on the other hand is good for 370 horsepower while the upgraded version of the engine which is connected to the new Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission is expected to generate an output of up to 385 horsepower.

Finally, the 2013 Ram Heavy Duty trucks will also be sold with new colors, the Uconnect infotainment from Chrysler, and HVAC controls.

Given these features, a lot of car experts are quite convinced that these heavy duty trucks from Ram will most likely attract a lot of buyers especially those who are interested in purchasing trucks that they would be using for commercial purposes. These trucks would most likely become a hit since more and more Americans are currently in need of hardworking trucks.
